Mnemosyne Journal is engineered for complete offline privacy. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your journal entries, multimedia attachments, or personal data on remote servers. All your personal data is saved securely on your device's local storage.
This app requires microphone permissions strictly to provide Voice Dictation capability. The audio is recorded and processed 100% locally on your device using an embedded AI transcription model. Your voice recordings are never uploaded to remote servers or third-party AI services.
Mnemosyne Journal operates completely offline on your device. We do not transmit your personal data, journal entries, or usage telemetry to any third-party servers.
Following our strict journaling philosophy, entries cannot be modified or edited once archived. However, you maintain absolute control over your data. You may download, export, or permanently delete all local data directly from your device storage settings or by clearing the app data at any time.
Mnemosyne Journal does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect data at all, we also do not collect data from children.
